    • Download the Google Home app. Download the Google Home app on your tablet or phone.
    • Add the speaker in the app. Tap the plus sign icon.
    • Connect the speaker to your Wi-Fi network. Follow the instructions in the app to connect the speaker to your Wi-Fi network.
    • Set up your voice match. Voice match allows your Google Nest Mini to recognize your voice. This is useful for things like setting alarms and timers. To set up voice match, say "Hey Google, talk to Google Assistant." Follow the instructions in the app.
    • Start using your Google Nest Mini. Once your Google Nest Mini is set up, you can start using it. To control your smart home devices, say "Hey Google, turn on the lights" or "Hey Google, set the temperature to 72 degrees." To get information, say "Hey Google, what's the weather like today?" or "Hey Google, what's the latest news?"
